Dhaulagiri Foothills

The Dhaulagiri massif in Nepal extends 120 km (70 mi) from the Kali Gandaki River west to the Bheri. This massif is bounded on the north and southwest by tributaries of the Bheri River and on the southeast by Myagdi Khola.Dhaulagiri I is the seventh highest mountain in the world at 8,167 metres (26,795 ft) above sea level. It was first climbed on May 13, 1960 by a Swiss/Austrian/Nepali expedition.

Days Itinerary
1 Drive to Beni and Camp at Ghaleshwor (830m)
2 Ghaleshwor to Jhigaon (2000m).
3 Jhigaon to Upallo Thadakhani (2500m)
4 Thadakhani to Kuine (2433m)
5 Kuine to Khibang (2327m)
6 Rest day at Khibang
7 Khibang to Ghattekhola (2000m)
8 Ghattekhola to Dharapani (Forest Camp) (1810m)
9 Dharapni to Darbang  (1180m)
10 Darbang to Beni and drive to Pokhara.

Cost Includes:

  • All airport and hotel transfers
  • 3-star hotel in Kathmandu ( Summit Hotel or another hotel of similar standard) with breakfast

  • Nepal Visa fee(bring small denomination USD cash and two passport photographs)

  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, early return from mountain(due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary
  • Lunch and evening meals in Kathmandu(and also in the case of early return from mountain than the scheduled itinerary)
